1  Name

  This instrument is the Legislation (Private Health Insurance Instruments) Sunsetaltering Declaration 2021.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under subsection 51A(1) of the Legislation Act 2003.

4  Aligning of sunsetting

  The following instruments are repealed by section 51A of the Legislation Act 2003 on 1 April 2027:

 (a) Private Health Insurance (Accreditation) Rules 2011;

 (b) Private Health Insurance (Benefit Requirements) Rules 2011;

 (c) Private Health Insurance (Incentives) Rules 2012 (No. 2);

 (d) Private Health Insurance (Complying Product) Rules 2015;

 (e) Private Health Insurance (Lifetime Health Cover) Rules 2017;

 (f) Private Health Insurance (Health Insurance Business) Rules 2018.

5  Repeal of this instrument

  This instrument is repealed at the start of 2 April 2027.
