This instrument is the Imported Food Control Legislation Amendment (Risk Foods) Order 2021.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Repeal the item, substitute:

Insert:
kava products means a food mentioned in section 2.6.3—3 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code, as in force at the commencement of this definition.
4 Clause 1 of Schedule 1 (table items 17 and 18)
Repeal the items, substitute:
17 | Berries that are: (a) fresh or frozen; and (b) ready‑to‑eat; and (c) not retorted |
17A | Berries that are dried and ready‑to‑eat, but are not retorted |
