This instrument is the Intelligence Services Regulations 2021.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

The whole of this instrument | The later of: (a) the day after this instrument is registered; and (b) immediately after the commencement of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Security Legislation Amendment (Critical Infrastructure) Act 2021. However, the provisions do not commence at all if the event mentioned in paragraph (b) does not occur. | 11 December 2021 (paragraph (a) applies) |

This instrument is made under the Intelligence Services Act 2001.
In this instrument:
Act means the Intelligence Services Act 2001.
Home Affairs Department means the Department administered by the Minister administering the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018.
5 Cooperation with prescribed agencies
(1) For the purposes of paragraph 13A(1)(c) of the Act, the Home Affairs Department is prescribed.
(2) Subsection (1) has effect only in relation to ASD.
