Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Regulations 1997
This instrument is the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Agriculture, Water and the Environment Measures No. 5) Regulations 2021.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Act 1997.

522 | Online measures to improve price transparency in perishable goods industries | To provide financial assistance to research and development corporations and industry representative bodies to support the development and implementation of online measures to improve price transparency in perishable goods industries. |
523 | Agricultural innovation hubs program | To establish or develop, and operate, agricultural innovation hubs that support innovation in the agricultural, aquaculture, fishery and forestry industries, including by: (a) providing places for activities relating to development, extension, adoption and commercialisation of research and innovations; and (b) carrying out activities including field days, workshops, demonstrations, websites and social media. This objective has the effect it would have if it were limited to measures: (a) with respect to postal, telegraphic, telephonic, and other like services (within the meaning of paragraph 51(v) of the Constitution); or (b) relating to fisheries in Australian waters beyond territorial limits; or (c) with respect to places, persons, matters or things external to Australia; or (d) that are peculiarly adapted to the government of a nation and cannot otherwise be carried on for the benefit of the nation; or (e) undertaken in, or in relation to, a Territory. |
