This instrument is the Education Services for Overseas Students (TPS Levies) (Administrative and Base Fees) Determination 2021.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under section 7A of the Education Services for Overseas Students (TPS Levies) Act 2012.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned.
(a) administrative fee component;
(b) base fee component;
(c) risk rated premium component.
In this instrument:
Act means the Education Services for Overseas Students (TPS Levies) Act 2012.
government school has the same meaning as in section 4 of the Schools Assistance (Learning Together – Achievement Through Choice and Opportunity) Act 2004.
non-government school has the same meaning as in section 4 of the Schools Assistance (Learning Together – Achievement Through Choice and Opportunity) Act 2004.
Registered provider has the same meaning as it has in section 5 of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000.
registered school means a non-government school (as defined under the Schools Assistance (Learning Together – Achievement Through Choice and Opportunity) Act 2004) registered on CRICOS.
State or Territory VET institution means a vocational education and training institution that is owned or controlled (whether directly or indirectly) by a State or Territory.
Table A provider has the same meaning as in section 16-15 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
6 Determination of administrative fee component
For the purposes of section 6 of the Act, the following dollar amounts are determined for the calendar year beginning on 1 January 2022:
(a) the amount for the purposes of paragraph 6(a) is $0.00; and
(b) the amount for the purposes of paragraph 6(b) is $0.00.
7 Determination of base fee component
For the purposes of section 7 of the Act, the following dollar amounts are determined for the calendar year beginning on 1 January 2022:
(a) the amount for the purposes of paragraph 7(a) is $0.00; and
(b) the amount for the purposes of paragraph 7(b) is $0.00.
