Norfolk Island Applied Laws Amendment (Applied Laws and Service Delivery (Queensland) (Long Service Leave)) Rules 2021

1 Name
This instrument is the Norfolk Island Applied Laws Amendment (Applied Laws and Service Delivery (Queensland) (Long Service Leave)) Rules 2021.
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority
This instrument is made under section 7 of the Norfolk Island Applied Laws Ordinance 2016.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Schedule 1—Amendments
Norfolk Island Applied Laws Ordinance 2016
1 Item 6 of Schedule 5 (at the end of section 3A)
Add:
Act does not apply to certain Queensland officers, employees and authorities
(7) This Act does not apply in relation to:
(a) an officer or employee of Queensland; or
(b) an authority (within the meaning of section 18B of the Norfolk Island Act 1979 of the Commonwealth) of Queensland; or
(c) an officer or employee of an authority (within the meaning of section 18B of the Norfolk Island Act 1979 of the Commonwealth) of Queensland;
to the extent that the officer, employee or authority is exercising powers or performing functions or duties under an arrangement between the Commonwealth and Queensland for the delivery of services to Norfolk Island.
