This instrument is the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator (Other Functions) Instrument 2022.

3 Authority
This instrument is made under paragraph 157(1)(p) of the Act.
Note: A number of expressions used in this instrument are defined in section 3 of the Act, including the following:
(a) National VET Regulator; and
(b) Ministerial Council.
In this instrument:
Act means the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011.
Part 2—Other functions of the National VET Regulator
5 Other functions of the National VET Regulator
(1) For the purposes of paragraph 157(1)(p) of the Act, the National VET Regulator has the following functions relating to vocational education and training:
(a) to receive and assess proposed training packages;
(b) to make recommendations to the Ministerial Council about the endorsement of proposed training packages; and
(c) to educate, and engage and consult with, industry bodies about training packages.
(2) The National VET Regulator ceases to have the functions set out in subsection (1) on 31 December 2024.
