Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Regulations 1997

1  Name

  This instrument is the Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Amendment (Veterans’ Affairs Measures No. 2) Regulations 2022.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

 

Financial Framework (Supplementary Powers) Regulations 1997

1  Part 3 of Schedule 1AB (table item 11, column headed “Name”)

Omit “Grant”, substitute “Grants”.

2  In the appropriate position in Part 3 of Schedule 1AB (table)

Grant to Australian International Military Games

To benefit veterans by funding Australian International Military Games to:

(a) encourage involvement in sport, recreation and local community clubs; and

(b) support Australian teams to participate in Invictus and Warrior Games; and

(c) deliver sport programs for the wounded, injured or ill; and

(d) commission research into the role of sport, recreation and community engagement in improving mental health and wellbeing; and

(e) engage in fundraising to support the matters mentioned in paragraphs (a) to (d).
