This instrument is the Aged Care Legislation Amendment (Quality Indicator Program) Principles 2022.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Aged Care Act 1997.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Accountability Principles 2014
1 Section 4 (definition of National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program Manual)
Repeal the definition, substitute:
National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program Manual means the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program Manual 3.0—Part A, published on the Department’s website, as existing at the start of 1 April 2023.
2 Paragraph 26(b)
Omit “in accordance with the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program Manual as existing before 1 July 2021)”, substitute “before 1 April 2023 in accordance with previous versions of the National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program Manual)”.

Repeal the definition, substitute:
