Note 1   Proposed exposition changes to matters mentioned in subparagraphs 119.020 (b) (i) to (v) are significant changes requiring CASA approval if they fail to maintain or improve the safety of aeroplane operations. Applications for approval should be submitted to CASA at least 90 days before 2 December 2023. Later applications are likely to result in operators having to cease relevant operations on and from 2 December 2023 while awaiting CASA approval of the exposition content.

Note 2   For proposed exposition changes to matters mentioned in subparagraphs 119.020 (b) (i) to (v) that do maintain or improve the safety of aeroplane operations, revised exposition content must be submitted to CASA by 2 December 2023, even if the operator’s usual change process for non-significant changes would not require submission until a later date.

Note 3   The direction ceases to be in force in accordance with paragraph 2 (b).
