Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery (Fishing Season and Total Allowable Commercial Catch) Determination 2024
The Australian Fisheries Management Authority makes the following determination in accordance with a decision made by the Commissioners under section 23 of the Fisheries Administration Act 1991.

This instrument is the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery (Fishing Season and Total Allowable Commercial Catch) Determination 2024.
This instrument commences on 1 January 2024.
3 Authority
This instrument is made pursuant to paragraph 17(6)(aa) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 and sections 1.3 and 3.2 of the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery Management Plan 2010 (the Plan).
A term used in this instrument that is defined for the purposes of the Plan has the same meaning in this instrument as it has in the Plan.
Note: Terms defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 have the same meaning in this instrument.
5 Cessation
This instrument ceases on 31 December 2024.
6 Fishing Season
The fishing season is the period commencing on 1 January 2024 and ending on 31 December 2024.
7 Total Allowable Commercial Catch
The total allowable commercial catch for quota species in the Eastern Tuna and Billfish Fishery for the fishing season is:
