Fisheries Management (Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Australia’s National Catch Allocation) Determination 2023
The Australian Fisheries Management Authority makes the following determination in accordance with a decision made by the Commissioners under section 23 of the Fisheries Administration Act 1991.

This instrument may be cited as the Fisheries Management (Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Australia’s National Catch Allocation) Determination 2023.
This instrument commences on 1 December 2023.
3 Cessation
This instrument ceases on 30 November 2024.
This instrument is made pursuant to paragraph 17(6)(aa) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 under subclause 17.2 of the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management Plan 1995 (the Plan).
A term used in this instrument that is defined for the purposes of the Plan has the same meaning in this instrument as it has in that Plan.
Note: Terms defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 have the same meanings in this instrument.
6 Determination of Australia’s national catch allocation
Australia’s national catch allocation for the fishing season in the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery that commences on 1 December 2023 and ends on 30 November 2024 is 6,930,000 kilograms.
