1  Name

  This instrument is the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock (Treasurer) Delegations 2023.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Act 1911.

4  Definitions

Note: Expressions have the same meaning in this instrument as in the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Act 1911 as in force from time to time—see paragraph 13(1)(b) of the Legislation Act 2003.

  In this instrument:

the Act means the Commonwealth Inscribed Stock Act 1911.

Part 2Delegations

5  Delegations

  Under subsection 51H(1) of the Act, the Treasurer is delegated all of the Governor-General’s powers under sections 4 and 7 of the Act.

Part 3Revocations

6  Previous delegations revoked

  Under subsection 51H(1) of the Act, all of the Governor-General’s previous delegations of the Governor-General’s powers under sections 4 and 7 of the Act are revoked.
