This instrument is the Autonomous Sanctions (Designated Persons and Entities and Declared Persons – Thematic Sanctions) Amendment (No. 1) Instrument 2024.

(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority

This instrument is made under subregulation 6A(2) of the Autonomous Sanctions Regulations 2011.

7 Significant cyber incidents

Designated persons and entities

(1) For the purposes of paragraph 6A(2)(a) of the Regulations, each person or entity specified in an item of a table in clause 1 of Schedule 3 is designated as a designated person or entity.

Declared persons

(2) For the purposes of paragraph 6A(2)(b) of the Regulations, each person specified in an item of the table in clause 1 of Schedule 3 is declared for the purpose of preventing the person from travelling to, entering or remaining in Australia.
