This is the ASIC Corporations (Amendment) Instrument 2024/146.

2 Commencement

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.

3 Authority

This instrument is made under 994L(2) of the Corporations Act 2001.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

1 Section 5 (definition of financial product)

Omit “the meaning given”, substitute “a meaning affected”.

2 Section 5 (definition of makes non-cash payments)

Omit “section 763D of the Act”, substitute “subsection 12BAA(6) of the ASIC Act”.
