Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alteration (No. 2) 2024
In accordance with section 273EA of the Customs Act 1901, read with section 56 of the Legislation Act 2003, I, Suzanne Ford, delegate of the Minister for Home Affairs, give notice that it is intended, within 7 sitting days of the House of Representatives after the date of registration of this Notice, to propose in the Parliament a Customs Tariff alteration in accordance with the particulars specified in the Schedules to this Notice.
The alteration in Schedule 1 operated starting on 4 July 2024.

Schedule 1—Alteration to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 operating start on 4 July 2024
Repeal the paragraph, substitute:
(b) that are imported into Australia during the period beginning on 4 July 2022 and ending at the end of 3 July 2026;
Schedule 2—Repeal of Notices
2 The following are repealed at the same time as the alteration made by this Notice commences operation:
(a) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alterations (No.2) 2022;
(b) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alterations (No.4) 2022;
(c) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alterations (No.5) 2022;
(d) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alterations (No.6) 2022;
(e) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alterations (No.7) 2022;
(f) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alteration (No.1) 2023;
(g) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alteration (No.2) 2023;
(h) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alteration (No.3) 2023; and
(i) Notice of Intention to Propose Customs Tariff Alteration (No.4) 2023.
