1  Name

  This instrument is the Currency (Australian Coins) Amendment (2024 Royal Australian Mint No. 6) Determination 2024.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

(iv) Arabic numerals for the amount, in dollars or cents, of the denomination of the coin, followed by “DOLLAR”, “DOLLARS” or “CENTS” as the case requires; and

(d) threaded onto the end of the snake’s tail, and partially obscured by the snake’s tail, a representation of a circular Chinese cash coin (qian) bearing the inscriptions:

(ii) the Chinese language character (), pronounced cái under the Pinyin system, and meaning fiscal; and
