1  Name

  This instrument is the Australian Crime Commission (National Policing Information Charges) Determination 2024.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

  This instrument is made under the Australian Crime Commission (National Policing Information Charges) Act 2016.

4  Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

5  Definitions

  In this instrument:

accredited body has the same meaning as in the Australian Crime Commission Act 2002.

Act means the Australian Crime Commission (National Policing Information Charges) Act 2016.

nationally coordinated criminal history check has the same meaning as in the Australian Crime Commission Act 2002.

6  Amount of national policing information charge for nationally coordinated criminal history check

  For the purposes of subsection 7(1) of the Act, for a national policing information service of a kind mentioned in column 1 of an item in the following table that is provided by the Australian Crime Commission to an entity mentioned in column 2 of that item, the amount of the national policing information charge is the amount mentioned in column 3 of that item.
