1  Name

  This instrument is the Telecommunications (Statutory Infrastructure Providers—Exempt Real Estate Development Projects and Building Redevelopment Projects) Amendment Determination (No. 1) 2024.

2  Commencement

  This instrument commences the day after this instrument is registered.

3  Authority

  This instrument is made under subsections 360H(3A) and 360H(5A) of the Telecommunications Act 1997 and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.

4  Schedules

  Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

Telecommunications (Statutory Infrastructure Providers—Exempt Real Estate Development Projects and Building Redevelopment Projects) Determination (No. 1) 2020

1  Subsection 4(1)

Omit “mobile network means a telecommunications network that is used principally to supply public mobile telecommunications services.”

2  Subsection 4(1)

Omit:

radiocommunications fixed voice call means a voice call provided using a carriage service:

(a) supplied by means of a telecommunications network other than a fixedline telecommunications network; and

(b) marketed to customers, or potential customers as a carriage service that enables endusers to make and receive voice calls at premises occupied or used by the endusers.”

Repeal the subsection.
