Higher Education Support (Other Grants) Guidelines 2022
This instrument is the Higher Education Support (Other Grants) Amendment (National Priorities Pool Program) Guidelines 2024.
This instrument commences the day after this instrument is registered.
This instrument is made under section 238-10 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Higher Education Support (Other Grants) Guidelines 2022
1 Subsection 14(2)
After the word “providers”, insert “and specified bodies corporate”.
2 Paragraph 14(2)(b)
Omit “and”.
3 Paragraph 14(2)(c)
Omit “.”, substitute “; and”.
4 After paragraph 14(2)(c)
Insert:
(d) address barriers to education including through embedding inclusive education, universal design for teaching and learning and improved cultural safety.
5 Section 15
Repeal the section, substitute:
15 Specified bodies corporate
The Australian Human Rights Commission is specified as eligible to receive a grant under the National Priorities Pool Program.
Note: Under section 41-10 of the Act, Table A providers are eligible for grants made for the purpose of promoting equality of opportunity in higher education.
