1  Name

  This instrument is the Legislation (Deferral of Sunsetting—Aged Care Instruments) Certificate 2024.

2  Commencement

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

  This instrument is made under paragraph 51(1)(c) of the Legislation Act 2003.

4  Deferral of sunsetting

  The following instruments, for which the sunsetting day is 1 October 2024, are repealed by section 51 of the Legislation Act 2003 on 1 October 2025:

 (c) Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) Principles 2014;

 (d) Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) (Residential Care Subsidy) Determination 2014;

 (e) Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) (Subsidy and Other Measures) Determination 2014;

 (f) Allocation Principles 2014;

 (g) Approval of Care Recipients Principles 2014;

 (h) Classification Principles 2014;

 (i) Extra Service Principles 2014;

 (j) Fees and Payments Principles 2014 (No. 2);

 (k) Grant Principles 2014;

 (l) Information Principles 2014;

 (m) Quality of Care Principles 2014;

 (n) Records Principles 2014;

 (o) Subsidy Principles 2014;

 (p) User Rights Principles 2014.

5  Repeal of this instrument

  This instrument is repealed at the start of 2 October 2025.
