Environment Protection and Management Ordinance 1987

This Ordinance is the Heard Island and McDonald Islands Legislation Amendment (Administrative Review Tribunal) Ordinance 2024.
(1) Each provision of this Ordinance specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This Ordinance is made under section 10 of the Heard Island and McDonald Islands Act 1953.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this Ordinance is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this Ordinance has effect according to its terms.
Environment Protection and Management Ordinance 1987
1 Subsection 17(6)
Omit “subject to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975, an application may be made to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal”, substitute “subject to the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024, an application may be made to the Administrative Review Tribunal”.
2 Subsection 23(1)
Omit “Administrative Appeals Tribunal”, substitute “Administrative Review Tribunal”.
3 Subsection 23(3)
Omit “subject to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975, the person to whom the notice is addressed is entitled to apply to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal”, substitute “subject to the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024, the person to whom the notice is addressed is entitled to apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal”.
