This instrument is the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Disbursement (Declared Bodies) Rules 2024.
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Disbursement Act 2024.
In this instrument:
Act means the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Disbursement Act 2024.
Part 2—Declaring bodies as recipient bodies
5 Declaring bodies as recipient bodies
(1) For the purposes of subsection 39(1) of the Act, the following are prescribed:
(a) Dairy Australia Limited (ABN 60 105 227 987);
(b) Australian Eggs Limited (ABN 66 102 859 585);
(c) Forest and Wood Products Australia Limited (ABN 75 127 114 185);
(d) Horticulture Innovation Australia Limited (ABN 71 602 100 149);
(e) Australian Livestock Export Corporation Ltd (ABN 88 082 408 740);
(f) Meat & Livestock Australia Limited (ABN 39 081 678 364);
(g) Australian Meat Processor Corporation Ltd (ABN 67 082 373 448);
(h) Australian Pork Limited (ABN 83 092 783 278);
(i) Sugar Research Australia Limited (ABN 16 163 670 068);
(j) Australian Wool Innovation Limited (ABN 12 095 165 558).
(2) For the purposes of subsection 39(2) of the Act, if the Minister declares a body to be a recipient body under subsection 39(1) of the Act, the declaration must also declare the body to be:
(a) the dairy industry body; or
(b) the egg industry body; or
(c) the forestry industry body; or
(d) the horticultural industry body; or
(e) the livestock export body; or
(f) the meat industry body; or
(g) the meat processor body; or
(h) the pig industry body; or
(i) the sugarcane industry body; or
(j) the wool industry body.
Other rules for declaring meat and livestock bodies
(3) For the purposes of subsection 39(2) of the Act, before the Minister declares a body to be the livestock export body, the meat industry body or the meat processor body, the Minister must have regard to any written policies that are formulated jointly by the following and that are relevant to the making of that declaration:
(a) Sheep Producers Australia Limited;
(b) Cattle Australia Limited;
(c) the Australian Lot Feeders’ Association;
(d) the Australian Meat Industry Council;
(e) Australian Livestock Exporters Council Limited;
(f) the Goat Industry Council of Australia;
(g) Red Meat Advisory Council Limited.
(4) For the purposes of subsection 39(2) of the Act, the Minister must not declare a body to be more than one of the following:
(a) the livestock export body;
(b) the meat industry body;
(c) the meat processor body.
