This instrument is the Aged Care Legislation Amendment (Outbreak Management Support Supplement) (No. 2) Instrument 2024.

(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3 Authority

This instrument is made under the following:

(a) sections 44-27 and 52-1 of the Aged Care Act 1997;

(b) section 44-27 of the Aged Care (Transitional Provisions) Act 1997.

4 Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Aged Care (Subsidy, Fees and Payments) Determination 2014

1 Section 64ZV

Omit “$2.81”, substitute “$1.65”.

2 Paragraph 91(a) (the amount worked out for OMSA)

Omit “$2.81”, substitute “$1.65”.

3 After paragraph 106(1)(b)

Insert:

; and (c) the OMSA for the day for the care recipient.

4 After subsection 106(3)

(4) For paragraph (1)(c), the OMSA for the day for the care recipient is $1.65.
