  This instrument is the Federal Financial Relations (General Purpose Financial Assistance—2024-25 Payment No. 8) Determination 2025.

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

  This instrument is made under the Federal Financial Relations Act 2009.

Note: Paragraph 13(1)(b) of the Legislation Act 2003 has the effect that expressions have the same meaning in this instrument as in the Federal Financial Relations Act 2009 as in force from time to time.

  In this instrument:

the Act means the Federal Financial Relations Act 2009.

 

Note 1: A determination in this Part is made under subsection 9(1) of the Act.

Note 2: A payment of the amounts determined in this Part is proposed to be made in February 2025.

  Each item of the following table specifies an amount to be paid to the State mentioned in that item for the purpose of making a grant of general purpose financial assistance to that State.
