Schedule 1—Exemption 2
This instrument is the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Exemption) Instrument (No. 2) 2025.
This instrument commences the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislation.
This instrument is made under subsection 37(1) of the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012 and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901.
In this instrument:
Act means the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards Act 2012.
Determination means the Greenhouse and Energy Minimum Standards (Computers) Determination 2013.
exempt model: see section 5.
The model specified in clause 1 of Schedule 1 (the exempt model) is exempt from the requirements of the Determination as described at clause 2 of Schedule 1 with respect to the supplies of the exempt model specified at clause 3 of Schedule 1.
There are no conditions specified under subsection 37(2) of the Act.
This instrument is repealed on 31 December 2027.

2 Requirements from which model is exempt
Requirements of the Determination as follows:
GEMS level requirements | The identified model is exempted from the GEMS level requirements in relation to standby (off) power mode, which are set out in paragraph 6(1)(b) of the Determination. |

This exemption applies in relation to any supplies of the exempt model.
