  This instrument is the Currency (Australian Coins) Amendment (2025 Royal Australian Mint No. 3) Determination 2025.

 (1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

A design, inspired by the Torres Strait Islander Flag (as proclaimed in the Proclamation under the Flags Act 1953 (Torres Strait Islander Flag)), consisting of:

(a) a central circle containing a representation of a traditional Torres Strait Islander headdress (known as a Dhari) with a fivepointed star beneath it; and

(b) surrounding the central circle, a colour pattern of 5 concentric circles of blue, white, black and green superimposed on a pattern of segmented concentric circles; and

(c) in the background, and partially obscured by the headdress, star and concentric circles, a representation of a section of the artwork Coral Reef Garden by Erub Island artist, Lavinia Ketchell; and

(d) the following:

(i) “TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER FLAG”; and

(ii) “1995-2025”.
