This instrument was originally made under section 33 of the Endangered Species Protection Act 1999 and is continued in force under section 270B of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (see Schedule 2, Part 2, item 4 of the Environmental Reform (Consequential Provisions) Act 1999 for saving and transitional provisions).

This Plan was approved on 2 July 1999 by the Assistant Secretary of the Biodiversity Conservation Branch at the Department of Environment and Water Resources.

This instrument was replaced by the Threat Abatement Plan for Predation by Feral Cats 2008 (F2009L00065) with effect from 1 October 2008.
