The amendments to Part 2 of the Cairns Area Plan of Management 1998 contained in Schedule 1 to this instrument commenced on 7 June 2002 when the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 3) commenced - see subsection 39ZF(2) of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975.
