The amendments to Part 2 of the Plan commenced on 7 June 2002 when the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Amendment Regulations 2002 (No. 3) commenced - see subsection 39ZF(2) of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Act 1975.
